Spring has arrived! The birds are chirping, flowers are blooming (snow is flying?!) and MPA theatre students are tapping up a storm in preparation for the spring musical. This year Mounds Park Academy presents THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE by Richard Henry Morris, Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan. Set in New York City during the jazz age, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a story of big dreams, mistaken identities and young love. Did I mention there’s tap dancing? Our students have worked tirelessly for almost three months on this project and are thrilled to present what they’ve learned. They are supported by a host of professional designers, artists and musicians who bring the production value to a whole new level. We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a truly delightful evening of live theatre!
