The Imagination Foundation is launching the first ever Global Cardboard Challenge, inviting the world to play while fostering creativity and entrepreneurship in kids.
Mounds Park Academy is currently the ONLY Cardboard Challenge host in Minnesota! Please invite your friends and family to share in this exciting event!

Prior to the official Cardboard Challenge Kick-Off on Friday, October 5th, Mrs. Koen will show the Imagination Foundation video and facilitate a design and brainstorming session during Lower School computer class time.
Students may choose to start the Cardboard Challenge at home! If a student chooses this option, they are encouraged to bring their inventions to school on Friday, October 5th. They will have the opportunity to add to their invention that day.
DETAILS
Friday, October 5th During the school day, Lower School students will come to the Nicholson Center with their teacher. During this time, students will gather supplies and begin creating their inventions. The possibilities are endless! Students may work collaboratively or on their own.
After attending the Lower School build session on Friday, students may bring their creations home to work on them further or leave them at MPA.
Saturday, October 6th MPA will open our doors to the greater community from 9am-Noon. Students of all ages will be able to create their own inventions out of cardboard and other materials.
Friday, October 12th Display your inventions during the MPA Cardboard Challenge Final Showcase from 8:45-9:15.
We need supplies! Please click the link below for suggested materials. If you have some of these items at home or are willing to purchase, send them to MPA.
