- June 2: Colianni’s Grade 3 and both Grade 4 drama performances

It was wonderful to see so many families at our Lower School Field Day yesterday enjoying the activities and embracing the heat! The students had a fabulous time and tremendous thanks go out to our parent volunteers along with the members of our PE department: Tim Sheehan, Sean Ryther, Jess Powell, Chris Hopkins, and Mike Scinto.
Drama Performances Are On! Break A Leg!
It was a joy to watch Mr. Klein’s grade 3 class perform in our black box theater on Wednesday for classmates, parents, siblings, and other family members. Performances continue on Friday for Ms. Ruane’s grade 3 and both grade 4 classes. Monday we will have grade 1 performances. A big thanks to Ms. Heather Mastel for all of her guidance in these theatrical endeavors!
Grade 4 Moving Up Ceremony
We are excited to usher our grade 4 students into Middle School with our annual Moving-Up Ceremony on Tuesday, June 6, 2 PM. Please mark your calendars now to celebrate our grade 4 students moving into Middle School!
We’ll have popsicles for all students on the green just outside the gallery immediately following and it’s a wonderful time to visit with other parents!
Last Day Of School!
We will have our annual Yearbook Assembly at 8:15 AM, in the Nicholson Center on the last day of school. Parents and families are welcome to attend. Immediately following the assembly, students will report to their homerooms to pick up their yearbooks (if they ordered one!) and then we have a great signing party.
It is typical for most classes to gather immediately following the end of our morning activities on the last day of school at an event coordinated by the Parents Association Grade Representatives. Please check your respective Schoology group for details.
NOTE: Dismissal on Wednesday, June 7, is at 10:15 AM. Please be prompt in picking up your student and make plans for this special day!
Summer Events From The Parents Association
Thanks to our Parent Association, MPA will have three opportunities over the summer for you to gather together and have some fun building community over the summer. We hope you’ll consider joining us at one or all of these events:
- Pre-K: Sunday June 4, 11 AM-1 PM at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve, North Pavilion in Lake Elmo
- Kindergarten: Wednesday, June 7, 11 AM-12:30 PM at Richard Walton Park, Oakdale
- Grade 1: Wednesday, June 7, 1-3 PM at Richard Walton Park, Oakdale
- Grade 2: June 6, 5-7 PM, Battle Creek Park Pavilion, Maplewood
- Grade 3: Wednesday, June 7, 3:30-5:30 PM at Richard Walton Park, Oakdale
- Grade 4: Wednesday, June 7, 11 AM-1:30 PM at Seaquest, Roseville
