MPA’s International Student Program is comprehensive and student-centered, allowing our International Student Program director and our faculty and staff to best support our international students in all aspects of their academic and personal lives. Our international students are able to fully experience American culture and live with their host families while having a nurturing and supportive academic experience.
International students at MPA advance their global perspective and critical thinking, gain fluency in English, and experience an academically rigorous college preparatory education. Whether studying biological processes, constitutional law, or multiple languages, students connect their deep content knowledge to the world. Participation in athletics and activities is also encouraged, and that has a profound impact on the culture and character of the school. Students develop broader groups of friends, greater self-confidence, and deeper levels of tolerance and compassion, and they consistently perform better academically when they’re involved. They become inspired by their experiences and unafraid to accept new challenges.
