MPA's Upper School offers a rigorous college-prep environment that is filled with opportunities for students in grades nine through 12. The high school classes detailed below are offered in a block schedule that allows students to take half of their core subjects in quarter one, and the other half in quarter two, continuing to alternate to complete the year. This ensures that teachers are able to go far beyond memorization and deep into their content areas. This approach is supported by research as well as many years of positive feedback from students, parents, and faculty. The high school experience at MPA truly prepares students for college, and more importantly, for life.
